Blessings in Christ,
I trust each of you had a fulfilling week, resting in what He has accomplished and perhaps what you have accomplished, as well as working toward more accomplishment. It was after all, the last week of the month.
Tomorrow, 3/1, we will be gathering for Saturday Morning Bible Study at 9am.
Sunday, 3/2, we will have Adult Sunday School at 9am (continuing our study through Dr. Gene Getz’s, The Measure of Spiritual Maturity), and we will have Worship Service at 10:30am. We will not be having our evening session of Breaking Bread & Gathering.
A few resources for your edification that were produced this week;
You can review this past Sunday’s Worship Service & Sermon at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh2Pv76p_tw&t=2086s
I was blessed by the sermon preached by Larry Siegle this past Sunday at the Cortland Church of Christ. While there was room for disagreement on the details of baptism, we can sure find unity in the foundation of growth in Christ and what we find in 2nd Peter chapter 1. Listen and be blessed by the sermon yourself at the following YouTube link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvkOuHxTHC0
You can review our last Friday of the month session of the Preterist Power Hour that were produced earlier today at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x_CG0nrwKQ
I jumped into the Great South Bay earlier today to do the “Pastoral Polar Plunge”. I am glad to say we raised more money than the fundraiser goal. Glory to God. You can review the plunge at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x_CG0nrwKQ
Lastly, we published a March 2025 issue of the LIC Public Press. You can enjoy perusing that at the following link, https://licpublicpress.wordpress.com/2025/02/28/march-2025-lic-public-press/
We continue to thank God for His provision and guidance. We rejoice in learning about Him and fanning the flame of our faith. Might God continue to work wonders in our midst as we lift up praises and specific prayers of healing and care, as well as work toward the care of the needy and less fortunate in our community. In Jesus’s mighty name.
I look forward to study, fellowship, and worshipping together this weekend through our various meeting times and efforts.
By His goodness & grace,
Pastor Michael Miano
