Blessings in Christ,

I trust each of you had a blessed week and as we move past the high holy day of the Jews, Rosh Hoshana, if you needed a new season or year, go ahead and take it. More on that below.

We will have our Saturday Morning Bible Study tomorrow, 10/5, at 9am.

This Sunday, 10/6, we will have Adult Sunday School at 9am and our Worship Service at 10:30am. Join us as we conclude our Summer sermon series through Luke & Acts. We will NOT have our evening session of Breaking Bread & Gathering.

Also, we are preparing for our 9th Annual Bible Conference, “Advancing The Faith”, which will be November 15th -17th, 2024. You can find more information at the following link, https://www.bluepointbiblechurch.org/?page_id=3604

I have quite a few resources for your perusal and edification;

In light of Rosh Hoshana, I want to share a few “flashback Friday” resources with you;

In light of our Daniel chapter 2 study and some discussions I have recently had I made a short video teaching. You can review that on YouTube at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4FVcdYBA2U&t=7s

More recently I updated the sermons on our church YouTube page. You can review the last few sermons at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/@bluepointbiblechurch2059/videos

Last week I had the privilege of being a guest on Luke McInnes podcast, What’s The Point Anyway? I shared my testimony and other insights. You can listen to that interview at the following link, https://www.buzzsprout.com/2388525/episodes/15824231-what-s-the-point-anyway-mike-miano-s-wild-path-from-high-security-prison-to-worshipping-the-most-high

Lastly, considering the various conversations to be had this weekend regarding the conflict in Israel- Palestine. Might I encourage you to review the video that I made years ago, sharing about my experiences in the region back in 2010. Watch the video on YouTube at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXsBcvG_W_U&t=36s

We continue to pray for healing in our congregation, most specifically for sister Terri. We trust God to comfort those who are taking care of personal issues and/or others in their family. We thank God for continually sustaining our congregation, guiding us to get things accomplished, and for recent visitors. Might we continue to steadfastly following after Him and live in His grace as He encourages us in “Advancing The Faith”. We also pray for situations happening around the world, namely violences and conflicts, and pray for issues in our nation, specifically the effects of Helene on the south and Presidential election wisdom. In Jesus’ name we pray.

I look forward to much study, worship, and fellowship to be had this weekend.

By His goodness & for His glory,
Pastor Michael Miano
