Blessings in Christ,
I trust each of you had a week wherein with eyes set upon Him you were able to find joy. We have continued to have special concerns in our congregation we are praying for – comfort, healing, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. The Lord knows.
A few pertinent announcements followed by some resources provided this week.
Tomorrow, Sunday, August 7th is what we have come to celebrate as Parousia Sunday/ New Jerusalem Day. We celebrate the reality of the New Covenant and the “world without end” that came at the dissolution of the Mosaic Temple system in AD 70. To learn more, see the attached graphics as well as visit the following link, https://powerofpreterism.wordpress.com/2022/08/03/parousia-day-new-jerusalem-day/
We ask that if you have some sort of purple clothing or item to wear tomorrow, please do. This represents the royalty of Christ being found within His Church. We will be celebrating the Fulfilled Lord’s Table during our worship time tomorrow and do expect a very different sort of service.
Join us at 10:30am for Worship Service, Along with being indoors watching a film, we will also have small plates of a Middle Eastern breakfast available (fruit as well).
As of tomorrow morning you will be able to find our August Monthly Calendar on our website and in the foyer of the church building.
