Blessings in Christ,

I hope this rather late weekly update finds each of you doing well and prospering. Prayers lifted up for those in need of healing, a good report, encouragement, etc. May Jesus Christ continue to give each of us ample praise.

I have a few updates and resources to share.

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 8th is Mother’s Day. Our Adult Sunday school at 9am is canceled, however we will have a mother-honouring, God-glorifying Worship Service at 10:30am, followed by a Mother’s Day Luncheon. We encourage and invite all to join us for Mother’s Day Worship and Luncheon (Please see and share attached graphic and details).

I am grateful for those who came out to participate in our taking note of National Day of Prayer this past Thursday. It was a great expression of goodwill and unity, as we welcomed guests such as Brookhaven Supervisor Edward Romaine, our deacon Ed Silsbe (who also serves as President of the Blue Point Community Civic Association), Barbara Vouris who serves as Director of the Great South Bay Coalition, and Carol – Seitz Cusack the President of the the Bayport – Blue Point Chamber of Commerce. Faith leaders from our community, Pastor Sejin Cha from Bayport United Methodist Church and Pastor Michael Miano from The Blue Point Bible Church had exhortations and prayers to offer. We also welcomed special music and a host to others from the community to come forward and share exhortations. A beautiful time indeed. You can view the photos from that day at the following link (on our Facebook page) – https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=BluePointBibleChurch&set=a.5376473935719130

We had a rather edifying and informative week on the Preterist Power Hour. This was our last week doing daily shows, we will now do our podcast on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30am. Consider visiting the following links to listen to the podcasts and gain more resources;

We will have a May 2022 Monthly Calendar available online and in the foyer tomorrow following the worship service.

Lastly, consider joining with us next Tuesday, May 10th at 7:30pm est. as we begin A Contextual Study on the Resurrection: The Hope of Israel. The following link will give you beginning details for the study and a graphic is provided for a reminder and for you to share with those whom you can. Here is the link, https://mianogonewild.wordpress.com/2022/05/07/1270/

Reminder, there will be no Adult Sunday school tomorrow. We will have our Worship Service at 10:30 and it will be followed by an in-house catered luncheon. If you choose to bring a food item or beverage, please consider doing so.

By His continued mercy and grace, & for His glory,

Pastor Michael Miano
