At the end of February 2022 we began our “Thinking Through Thessalonians” Sermon Series (an outworking of our “Fullness of the Time” New Testament Sermon Series.
In Part 1, “Knowing His Choice of You”, Pastor Michael Miano began outlining historical/background context of the letter and moved us into chapter 1. Unfortunately, the audio did not work out for the sermon, however you can see the sermon outline and notes in the attachment.
In Part 2, “Delivered From God’s Wrath“, Pastor Mike further brought us through chapter 1 of Thessalonians and spend a considerable time talking through the “wrath of God”. In Part 3, “Approved Men, The Church, & God’s Kingdom & Glory”, Pastor Mike took us through 1st Thessalonians chapters 2-3 outlining essentials of the approved leadership and messages within the Church. - How can and should you walk worthy of your call (ie., what do you learn to imitate from our examples), especially in times of trial?
