Blessings in Christ,
I hope each of you had a good week. Many of us are in fervent prayer regarding the crisis in Ukraine and are praying for God’s wisdom and goodwill to all those who seek after peace. As a friend reminded many of us on social media tonight, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7)”.
I’d like to to share a few announcements and resources.
We will have Saturday morning Bible study tomorrow, 2/26 at 9am.
This Sunday, 2/27, we will have our Adult Sunday School at 9am, Worship Service at 10:30am, our All Committee Meeting (after our worship service), and then Common Prayer at 6pm,.
Also, this Sunday, 2/27 we begin our new Sermon Series, Thinking Through Thessalonians (see attached graphic).

This coming Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. We will NOT be offering ashes at the church, however, we are encouraging participating in Lent (namely through Lent Madness as a fun, learning opportunity and a reading through the Law of Moses (5 Books of Moses).
