Blessings in Christ,
I trust that each of you have had time this week to rejoice in God’s presence. As the Jews are currently celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), which points to the reality of God’s presence through Christ our Lord, may each of us find time to rejoice in God’s provisions, is times of blessing and times of trial. Please be mindful of praying for many within our congregation that need healing, peace, joy, and strength. Many of us know who these that are struggling are, may we provide encouragement when and where we can, but most of all, God knows.
I have a few announcements and quite a few resources to share for your benefit this week.
Tonight, Fri., 9/24, most of Bayport-Blue Point, and many across Long Island and even the nation are putting candles and luminaries outside our driveways at 7pm to demonstrate our prayers for Gabby Petito’s family and loves ones, as well as for justice to be found in her case. BPBC has made candles available to the community, and we will be ringing the church bell 22 times for each year of her life. Through our prayers, we are also mindful of the many other children and adults that are currently missing in the United States and across the world.
Tomorrow, Sat., 9/25, we will have our Saturday Morning Bible Study at 9am.
Also, as I have mentioned a few times, I and some others are attending the “Mark of the Beast” presentation at the 7th Day Adventist Church in Patchogue on Saturday, 9/25, from 3pm – 6pm. Please see attached graphic.

We had a great XD Movement session this past Monday. Not only did I share a video I put together to continue efforts against addiction and recovery in Brookhaven and throughout Long Island, but we also put together a list of “good causes” that each within our group have either wanted to or have advances.
