Please review the following Update regarding our various committees at The Blue Point Bible Church. Our biggest focus sees to be the free raffle idea (evangelising and inviting others with use of the free raffle) and our upcoming Bible Conference. However, there are a few other important details nestled in there. All Committee Update
I.) Planning & Marketing
- Signage on Nicolls Rd. & Montauk Hwy. (Conference)
– I still have to contact the BBP Chamber of Commerce to inquire about prices.
- Any other ideas for marketing?
II.) Worship (orderly, consistent, & purposeful
- General – I a hoping to organize a systematic 4 Hymns & 4 contemporary songs for our congregation to get comfortable with, which may encourage more and “better” singing on our part.
- Gift of Music – While each of us continue to express appreciate for Meredith & Steve Mahr, we do want to be sure it is known that anyone can come forward and offer a Gift of Song, just as much as a Word of Exhortation, in our Worship Services. We may start welcome others to come forward, which may encourages others to stir this gift.
- Conference. (What songs would we like to hear, sing, etc. at our upcoming Bible Conference?)

- Raffle/Evangelism bags (this free $200 raffle is our major focus of evangelism & outreach right now)
- National Overdose Awareness Day – Aug. 31
– Thurs., 8/26 – 5:30pm – Town of Brookhaven – Overdose Awareness advocacy
– Tues., 8/31 – 7pm – lighting of the BPP Chamber Tree for International Overdose Awareness Day
- The Attic – Patchogue LIRR – Sept. 18th – St. Libertad – What do we think of doing a pop-up shop on the day that there is the St. Liberta Feast in Patchogue?
- National Back to Church Sunday – Sept. 19th (free raffle to visitors)
- Raffle Drawing – Sun., Oct. 3rd
IV.) Sunshine
- Looking to organize a basket or cabinet of cards & other materials
