Blessings in Christ,

I hope each of you had a blessed and prayer-filled week. Many of us who are going through the 21 day fast – Encounter – have been being encouraged regarding evangelism and our mission in the world. Whether it’s in word or in deed, I do indeed trust each of us are having an effective witness in the world. If you feel convicted that you are not, I challenge and invite you to talk to someone about the grace of Jesus Christ, today.

A few announcements…,

Tomorrow, 1/23 – Our Saturday Morning Bible Study is canceled. I have encouraged our study, as well as each of you, to go outside and breathe in the fresh air and ask God to give you fresh perspective. As I listed to the inauguration of President Joseph Biden, the words “renew and resolve” stood out to me. May each of us seek both constant renewal and firm resolve, or conviction. Matter of fact, in my early am Common Prayer time, I was blessed with the following insight from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young;

“If you believe that I am sovereign over every aspect of your life, it is possible to trust Me in all situations. Don’t waste energy regretting the way things are or thinking about what might have been. Start at the present moment—accepting things exactly as they are—and search for My way in the midst of those circumstances.”

A few resources that were provided this week for your edification through the variety of teaching ministries I offer are:

Earlier in the week we celebrated the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I had the privilege to view the Pray On MLK resource that was mentioned in our Sunday bulletin. However, the Repairing The Breach program I was able to view, which included discussion with Dr. A.R. Bernard and Dr. Ed Stetzer was a blessing. 1/21- Preterist Power Hour – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbhy5Qq6ffE

I look forward to seeing and fellowshipping with many of you this coming Sunday. We will be continuing our Thinking Through the Scriptures, looking at the books of Kings, through a series ‘Kingdom Kings’. Sermon Sundays at The Blue Point Bible Church at 10:30am.

By His ever-renewing mercy and grace,

Pastor Michael Miano
