Blessings in Christ,

I hope that each of you had a blessed week and were provided opportunities to not only learn more about the “true knowledge of God” (cf. 2 Peter 1:3,8), but also to share it with others. May each of us rejoice in the eternal life we have in and through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

I have a few announcements and updates to share.

We began going through the That The World May Know teaching series by Ray Vanderlaan this past Wednesday and will continue each Wednesday night at 7pm. Our lesson this week highlighted the historical reality of Israel at the crossroads of culture, and how they were called to influence the nations as ancient “standing stones”. We discerned that we too, as Christ-followers, are called to live as “standing stones” in our corporate and individual expression of His Kingdom now (cf. 1 Peter 2:4-12). Ray Vanderlaan exhorts us, “The life of faith is not a vague, otherworldly experience. Rather it is being faithful to God right now, in the place and time in which He has put us”.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 9/19 – we will have our Saturday morning Bible study at 9am. We will continue to go through Ed Steven’s book, The Final Decade Before The End.

I have had the privilege to join with Ward Fenley on NCMI Live on Tuesday nights at 9:30pm et., in which we have been reviewing Isaiah chapters 54-55. I do believe this will become a regular effort, and encourage all to tune in at that time, or in the very least to watch the YouTube videos at some point. Here is the link to this weeks study as we began going through Isaiah chapter 55, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWDgQ0nFdDE

Also, I have continued to partner with Caleb Graham on Thursday nights at 6:30pm et., putting together Preterist Power Hour. Caleb has recently uploaded all the past episodes to YouTube. You can find this weeks episode, in which I offered up some reviewing thoughts regarding Caleb Graham’s debate with Mike Holloway that was had early in the week, at the following link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=723JxB0TbMc

And of course, as most of you know, this coming Sunday, September 20th, is National Back To Church Sunday. I have attached the graphic to this email and am hoping that many of you have been inviting friends and family to join us for outside worship at 10:30am.

I look forward to fellowshipping with each of you this coming Sunday, and the visitors whom the Lord sovereignly brings to gather with us.

May His peace reign in our lives,

Pastor Michael Miano
