Blessings in Christ,
It is my sincere hope that each of you had a blessed week – full of moments of praise and continuing in prayer (cf. 1 Thess. 5:17). We surely do worship a mighty and faithful God.
Tonight, 8/23, at 7pm, we will have our bi-monthly Worship Night at The Blue Point Bible Church. This affords us an intimate time with the Lord, usually spending about 1 ½ singing, fellowshipping, and receiving exhortation.
Tomorrow, 8/24, we will have our Saturday Morning Bible Study at 9am. We will continue reviewing modern context of Romans 12:1-2 – being a people of a renewed mind.
This coming Sunday, 8/25, we will have a Planning & Marketing Committee Meeting, as well as Outreach Committee. Please make some time to stay after our Worship Service for about a half hour. Also, we will be continuing our Sacred Marriage Course at 6pm on Sunday night.
On Monday, 8/26, we are launching a new ministry called CHOICES. Pastor Miano and social worker Therese Bertsch will be leading this group from 6pm – 7:30pm. This is a group designed for those who are friends and family members of those struggling with addiction. Our goal will be to foster positive, healthy, and encouraging discussion and wisdom to and with one another.
I look forward to fellowshipping with many, if not all of you, at some point this weekend. God willing, I will see some of you tonight.
