Blessings in Christ,

Prayerfully this week afforded you ample opportunity to praise God and to find adventure in His will. It was just this morning that as I opened a reflective devotional that I read, “Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. But creative experiences can be produced regularly, consistently, and almost daily in people’s lives. It requires personal security and a spirit of adventure”. (Daily Reflections For Effective People). So to be effective we must examine ourselves and mark out where we find our “personal security” and seek a spirit of adventure.

I’d like to share some announcements and resources for your update and edification this week.

Some of you may have noticed that I have been having issues with the Blogtalk program on which I was doing the morning episodes of L.I.F.E. Podcasts, therefore I have begun a different method. L.I.F.E. Broadcasts will be LIVE on Facebook on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30am est. They will remain there and also uploaded to YouTube for those who are not on Facebook and will want to review after. Here is a link of this week’s “trial run”, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeTr7diHTqc

Sat., 3/9 – Men’s Breakfast at California Diner at 7am.

Sat., 3/9 – Saturday Morning Bible Study at 9am. We are continuing our study through William Bell’s Last Day lectures.

Sun., 3/10 – Please remember to change your clocks,  Daylight Savings Time to “Spring Ahead”  is Sunday, March 10 @ 2:00 am.

  • Also, this Sunday is the Blue Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade. It surely will effect your coming to and leaving BPBC, therefore please consider the following information. Using North Ocean Ave. to get to Montauk Hwy. is the best for those coming from the north. Make a left on Atlantic in Blue Point and then follow that down a bit until you get to Madison St., make that right, and that road will lead you to be right in front of The Blue Point Bible Church.

Our Church Luncheon is rescheduled to next Sunday, 3/17, where we will have a small dish for everyone who desires of Corned Beef & Cabbage, following our Worship Service.

Prayerfully, I will have opportunity to study the Word, think through the things of God, and fellowship with most if not all of you this weekend. Sundays at 9am (Adult Sunday School) and 10:30am (Worship Service).

By His Grace,
Pastor Michael Miano
