Blessings in Christ,

Prayerfully, this update finds you enjoying the sun while celebrating the victory we have in the Son. I know I was encouraged to productivity this week by a quote I found and would like to share that with you. Often quoted leadership and Christian virtue teacher, John Maxwell said, “If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them, then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them”. Well amen to that!

I’d like to share a couple of updates. First and foremost, I pray that each of you has given considerable prayer and focus to the challenges I have brought before us regarding the “Season Of Fire”. In last Sunday’s sermon I marked out three things for us:

  • Growing in Love with something or someone to the glory of God
  • Becoming passionate or more passionate about something that would glorify God
  • Study the Biblical context of judgement (contextual and applicational)

I look forward to continuing our edifying journey through the “Season of Fire” this coming Sunday at The Blue Point Bible Church and marking out some details regarding each of those points.

Tomorrow, Saturday (6/9), we will have our Men’s Breakfast at the Blue Point Diner at 7am. Also, we will have our Saturday Morning Bible Study (Feed The Sheep) at 9am.

Also, I am hoping that all will be ok and come into agreement with my requesting to move our Semi-Annual Meeting back a week. Instead of Friday, June 29th, I propose we hold the meeting Friday, July 6th. I am requesting the change due to a schedule conflict. I will speak more about it during announcements on Sunday morning (6/10).

I look forward to seeing most, if not all of you this weekend

In Service to Him,

Pastor Michael Miano
