Blessings in Christ Jesus,
I trust each of you had a blessed week, and that you sought out the “resurrection power” that is evident in and through us (as expressed by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians chapter 1). I simply want to share some resources, updates, and our corporate praises and prayers. May these things be edifying to you.
As I had previously mentioned, the videos from our conference in March are now available on YouTube. The easiest way to access the videos is to go to YouTube and type in “Power of Preterism Network” in the search bar. The account will pop up and you will gain access to not only this year’s videos, but all other years conference videos as well (Mr. Mert Melfa will be graciously uploading all the videos to the account in weeks to come). I known I have already enjoyed re-listening to some of the messages myself.
The spring usually brings me into thoughts and activities regarding outreach. This spring is no different.
I am working on some stuff through our XD Youth program to allow us, the Church, the spring into action. We will talk about some of the upcoming stuff at our – All Committee Meeting – Sunday, April 15th (after Worship Service). Please make your plans to commit to a committee (if you have not already) and join us for this necessary meeting.
I want to make mention of some birthdays we have had among us, as well as some upcoming ones. Maybe you might encourage them with blessings. Meredith’s birthday was Friday, March 30th. Sandy Johnston’s birthday was Saturday, March 31st, and Deacon Brian Johnston’s birthday is Wednesday, April 11th. I believe there may be one of two more among us we have to seek out. 😊
Quite a few things happening at The Blue Point Bible Church this weekend. Tomorrow, Sat., 4/ 7 – we have our Saturday Morning Bible Study @ 9am. Also, that evening, we are launching a Single Parents Social to meet on 6:30pm (see attachment). On Sunday, we will have our usual morning sessions – Adult Sunday School @ 9am and Worship Service @ 10:30am. However, we are also launching our Sunday Night discussion group sessions @ 8pm. Sunday nights will be geared toward – “Culture Changing Conversations (c3).
I look forward to seeing YOU this weekend.
In Service to Him,
